Born and raised in rural Central Wisconsin, Carrie is a proud cheesehead and die-hard Green Bay Packer fan. Upon graduating high school, she decided to trade in small town life for big city life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After spending the first two years of college struggling to find purpose and a potential career path, she decided to leave school and backpack through Southeast Asia.
After taking a year off from college to travel, Carrie went back to school and finished her degree. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2014 with a degree in Journalism. Carrie has worked in professional sports as a game host, in sports broadcasting as a sideline reporter and color commentator, and in television as a show host. She has interviewed everyone from State Governors and University Deans to Robin Yount and Derek Jeter.
When she’s not on-air or writing she can be found at a baseball stadium, sipping an IPA while cheering on her husband, Casey, who plays baseball in the Chicago White Sox organization, or watching re-runs of Fixer Upper while cuddling her two dogs, Gatsby and Lyla.
