It’s time again for another awards show recap. If you’re a red caret junkie like me, check out my other awards show best and worst.
Sofia Vergara in Roberto Cavalli
This woman could wear a plastic bag and she would still look gorgeous. thankfully she choose this beautiful gown instead. normally white dresses can bore me, but the metallic lines on this dress add just the right amount of pop. Overall she just looks amazing: hair, lips earrings, all of it just flawless.
Giuliana Rancic in Gustavo Cadile
Giuliana makes the best dressed category for her dress. I am a huge fan of this fit and flare mermaid style dress on her body type. She is basically a stick person so this fit really makes her look like she has some curves. The extra fabric on the bottom creates a little extra drama. I would have liked to have seen a necklace I think she looks a little unfinished and also I hate hate HATE her blonde hair.
Kate Walsh in Stephane Rolland
Dannnng. I love virtually everything about this look. The color is stunning, the cap sleeves and the high neck make it modest and classy, but the mermaid fit and flare with the peplum make it super sexy. My favorite part is the jewels on the inside of the peplum and down the sides of the dress. It really draws your eye in and gives her an amazing shape.
Heidi Klum in Zac Posen
When I saw Heidi arrive on the red carpet I literally could not look away. She looks absolutely fabulous head to toe. The coral color of this dress makes it youthful and fun, but the high neck and the cap sleeves make it very age appropriate. Although she is very covered this shape and the fabric hug her perfectly and show off her tiny little body.
Keke Palmer in Rubin Singer
This dress would be stunning in any color but this cobalt blue with her beautiful skin tone takes it above and beyond. As you’ve probably noticed I’m a huge fan of this mermaid shape. The volume on the bottom of this dress is gorgeous. The deep V-neck adds that va-va-voom and sexiness. The stitching of the fabric around her mid-section is superb, it really creates that amazing hour glass shape.
Amy Poehler in Theia
Typically, on the red carpet Amy looks good. She looks pretty and put together, but she looks HOT in this dress. I think she took such a risk with this loud sparkly number, but boy did she nail it. Her body looks great with the angles of this dress and her make up and hair compliment the dress perfectly. I was so impressed with her.
Best Dressed Couple
Matthew McConaughey in Dolce and Gabbana &
Camila Alves Zuhair Murad
Bottom line: these two are just really really beautiful people. They always look good on the carpet together. I’m not usually a fan of prints on the carpet but Camila mellows out the look with her straight hair, simple make-up and accessories. I love the fact that Matthew mixed the traditional-ness of a tux with a bolder different color. The fit looks absolutely great on top, but the hem of his pants are slightly too long and bunch a little too much at the bottom for my liking.
