Best Looks of the Night: 2016 Golden Globes

It’s officially Awards Show Season! Which also means it’s officially time for me to start critiquing all of our favorite celebrities as they walk the Red Carpets of the season. Here is my Best Dressed at the 2016 Golden Globes

Amy Schumer in Prabal Gurung

Amy looks exactly how the current “it girl” should look like. This dress is gorgeous and glamorous, but more so than that, it’s her. She looks comfortable, classy, and beautiful. The world is truly this girl’s oyster right now.

Queen Latifah Badgley Mischka

Never have I ever seen Queen L look so amazing on a red carpet. Seriously this color was made for her, and the way this dress lays makes her body look fabulous. I love how she matched the sparkle of the neckline of the dress to the sparkle of her earrings. She looks incredible.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum in Zuhair Murad Couture

I love Jenna’s style on the carpet and rarely dislike anything she wears. She has a fabulous figure so I love seeing her in something that shows her figure off a little bit more, but I have admit this dress stunning and she looks gorgeous. This deep V neckline is super sexy, but she keeps it in check with the rest of the dress being a full skirt.

Alicia Vikander in Lois Vuitton

I’m not typically a fan of being extremely trendy on the red carpet. Classic is more my style on the carpet, but I even surprised myself by being draw to this trendy look. What I love about this dress is that the trend is subtle. I love the soft vertical lines of this dress and I love the frills around the neck and arm lines.

Emmy Rossum in Armani Prive

Holy cow, does she look like a movie star or what?! Seriously she is blowing my mind with this look. She takes a simple and classic look and brings it to life with a trendy wrap around necklace. Flawless.

Who are your best and worst dressed at the Golden Globes?

I think my least favorite is Eva Longoria. What even IS that?! And Kate Hudson looks like she’s all one color–the ‘dress’, her skin, her hair, her clutch…yikes. Your top picks are all gorgeous and classy! And holy cow Emmy Rossum–totally channeling her inner Jessica Rabbit.

omg! that’s who she was reminding me of!! I was sitting at my computer for the longest time thinking to myself, She looks like someone, who is it?

I loved JLo’s style at the Globes. Jenna Tatum too.

Kate Hudson was awful.

I liked J Lo’s look a lot as well, but I was conflicted about the cape AND the skirt of the dress being so busy. She would have been top of my best dressed if she only had the cape, or only the busy skirt, them both together was a little too much for me, personally. Glad to hear you agree with me about K Hud. Awful was exactly my thoughts.
